Air New Zealand cabin crew appears nude in TV campaign. I love this one. The antipodeans tend to do tongue-in-cheek TV ads better than most and the latest Air New Zealand TV ad campaign is no different. Although currently only due for airing in NZ the ad is causing quite a stir on the internet and here’s why: the ad shows Air New Zealand staff in the nude (although covered in body paint to resemble their regular uniforms).
In a smart move they have also released the ‘making of’ film:
A 45-second TV ad, complemented by a longer viral entitled ‘Bare essentials of safety’, shows nude cabin crew giving the the pre-flight safety spiel which has attracted nearly 2.5 million hits on YouTube.
Again they have had the good sense to compliment the short with a selection of bloopers and outtakes.
More of this stuff please. UK TV advertising agencies please take note…..we like this stuff.
